Brooklyn is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Traffic in Brooklyn peaks on weekday mornings and afternoons, so allow extra time then. Addresses read from the street number up to the city, state abbreviation and five-digit ZIP code; the map link on this page shows the exact spot.

as a singaporean i am very familiar with indonesian food, and the good reviews definitely led me to have higher expectations. while the food was satisfactory, a bit more was left to be desired. the beef rendang tasted good but it wasnโ€™t tender. the ayam geprek was not crispy or spicy enough, and the soto ayam didnโ€™t have enough depth. they also used glass noodles which i wasnโ€™t used to, but i do like glass noodles so i wasnโ€™t too upset about that.

Amazing food and very authentic Indonesian cuisine! What makes this place stand out is that all of the rice dishes come with coconut pandan rice instead of the usual jasmine rice served at most Indonesian restaurants. It goes so well with the food and makes the meal even more flavorful. If you come here, I highly recommend the Spicy Beef Balado and the Crispy Galangal Chicken. Everything was delicious! ๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡ฉ๐Ÿ›โœจ

The portions are generous & the beef rendang is as good as youโ€™re gonna get anywhere in Indonesia, but itโ€™s v expensive at $23 for meal+tax+tip. Tho if you donโ€™t want to head out to Elmhurst, itโ€™s probably your best bet for Indo food anywhere in BK. Itโ€™s also a real bummer they donโ€™t offer some sort of set meal: all youโ€™re getting is meat & rice. Def takes you out of the Indo meal experience & feels like an unfortunate adaptation for American habits. Donโ€™t bother ordering the sides, those 12 teeny cubes in the corner of my bowl are the side of pickles. Would consider going back but ultimately felt so close but so far away from what I was craving ๐Ÿ˜ž
